Katy Nichole Makes Her FOX & Friends Debut; Christmas Tour with Tauren Wells, Jordan Smith Launches; Deluxe Album Releases March 15, 2024

Centricity Music’sBillboard Chartbreaker and 2023’s Gospel Music Association New Artist of the YearKaty Nichole performed for the first time on FOX & Friends Dec. 1. Kicking off the celebrated morning show’s All American Christmas Concert Series this season. Singing her rendition of the classic “O Holy Night” on the show, Nichole sings more holiday favorites on a Christmas tour with Tauren Wells and Jordan Smith launching in Cincinnati Dec. 1 and before hitting the road Jan. 12 with Winter Jam ’24, Christian music’s biggest arena tour.

“A beautiful performance from Katy Nichole. How about that voice, she is unbelievable!” exclaims FOX & Friends Co-host Ainsley Earhardt following her performance, and calling Nichole “…a top-charting singer putting faith in the spotlight.”

After a clip of Nichole’s “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” video played to set up her appearance on the show, Earhardt lauded the single as “one of the best songs out there right now” and gave Nichole the opportunity to share the story of her path through anxiety and depression to health and wholeness.

“I mean it when I say, Jesus changed my life,” shared Nichole in response. “I’ve had two back surgeries and the first one didn’t do exactly what it was supposed to do, but the second one was where the miracle happened. I was very depressed after the first, so depressed that I hit a place where I wanted to end my life. Thankfully, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Hold on, I’m not done yet.’ And I believed that voice. If I hadn’t believed that voice, I would not be standing here right now.”

Following her national morning show debut, Nichole will be featured on an upcoming FOX & Friends Weekend show performing her RIAA Certified Platinum®, BMI Christian and K-LOVE Fan Award-winning single “In Jesus Name (God of Possible).” The biggest song this decade after it held at No.1 for 20-weeks on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart, the song is both featured on her Jesus Changed My Life album and the deluxe version of the recording that is set to release March 15, 2024. Along with all the original album’s songs, Jesus Changed My Life Deluxe contains seven additional tracks, including four never-before-released originals.

Nichole continues to release songs filled with the unabashed honesty and impeccable artistry that have made the 23-year-old one of Christian music’s fastest-rising talents. Realizing her second and third-straight No. 1 songs with “God Is In This Story” and the Recording Academy-featured “Hold On,” Katy has also been nominated for an American Music Award, performed twice on the Grand Ole Opry and shared the stage with Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, CAIN and more.

“It has been so much fun to be out on tour with these guys this year,” echoes Leonard, who also produced the track, “and I’m super thankful we got to create a version of this song together!”

Continuing to release songs filled with the unabashed honesty and impeccable artistry that have made the 23-year-old one of Christian music’s fastest-rising talents, Nichole’s first three radio singles have all hit the top of the charts. NFN Music Review – KATY NICHOLE : Jesus Changed My Life. (Centricity Music)

Katy Nichole was born in Illinois US and is a Singer/songwriter. Until recently she was an unknown artist singing in her church choir. All that has rapidly changed since the release of her singles pre debut album release “Jesus Changed my life”. Her music has garnered great success in a very short space of time and found a well-established place within the world of Contemporary Christian Music. “150+million people around the world heard her 2022 Dove Award-nomination “In Jesus name (God of Possible) a wonderful track. Before the release of Katy’s debut album, the tracks that were released found their way quickly to No1 on radio “In Jesus Name” and “God Is In This Story”  both of these tracks are featured on her debut album. These tracks showcased her strong vocal and what a sensational emotional songwriter she is. Why is her music appealing to a huge audience in such a short space of time? Katy is writing her testimony through her lyrics. Unfortunately, her journey in life has not been easy and she has suffered much anxiety and depression which was due to complications from her scoliosis. Her lyrics are honest and the connection that people are having with her songs are pushing her quickly to becoming one of the most successful artists.  Her story is one of suffering, hope and healing which continues to this day. She like us all is a masterpiece in progress. Katy says that “through some of the toughest battles I’ve faced in my life, I’ve held onto Jesus and music. I’ve always felt like the Lord would bring me the right song in the right moment. I’ve had songs that brought healing in my darkest moments and made me feel less alone. I’ve seen the impact that music can have in my own life, and I hope my songs will do the same for you,” Katy says of the new project. “I am beyond excited to dig deeper into my story and share even more of my heart with you. I pray that these songs will bring you comfort and hope”. Tracks including “Things I Wish I would have said,” We will all relate to that song, “Jesus Thank You” and “By The Grace of God” all have a definite country flavour. It is Katy’s hope and prayer that our hearts will be focussed on God. This album if you are suffering as Katy has/is will help you to know that you are not alone in your struggles. Katy wants her listeners, wants you, to know that “you are loved more than you know”.  Vivienne Neville 10/10

In less than a year, the album’s opening track, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible),” propelled Nichole to heights rarely experienced by a brand new artist. The song became the biggest hit this decade on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart, crowning the list for a record-breaking 20 weeks. She followed the unprecedented success with three-week chart-topper “God Is In This Story.” Together, the songs resided at No. 1 for 44% of 2022 while Nichole further topped six Billboard year-end radio and sales categories. Moreover, she garnered her first nominations for an American Music Award and a Dove Award (co-hosting and performing on the GMA Dove Awards Pre-Telecast), received a K-LOVE Fan Award and was named a “Trending Artist on the Rise” by YouTube.

Nichole’s latest video and the album’s title track, “Jesus Changed My Life,” is the newcomer’s personal declaration of faith set to melody. Receiving a resounding standing ovation after singing the song during her Grand Ole Opry debut, Nichole says the song is “really a testimonial song. I have been changed by the love, grace and mercy of Jesus. He is so kind to me. I know how much He’s changed my life, but Jesus can change anybody’s life.”

Like the rainbow after a storm, that’s the promise she hopes listeners are able to cling to across the thoughtful blend of pop, country and worship found on her first studio project. The songs assembled on Jesus Changed My Life  are like bright rays of hope peeking through the clouds in someone else’s story.

“I want to use my platform to make sure people know I’m standing beside them, facing many of the same battles they are. I just want people to know they aren’t alone. You’re not alone,” she contends, speaking directly to the people who listen to her music, “and you are loved more than you know.”

About Katy Nichole: Singer/songwriter, 2022 Billboard Chartbreaker Katy Nichole was singing in her church choir long before 150+ million people around the world heard her 2022 Dove Award-nominated, K-LOVE Fan Award-winning “In Jesus Name (God of Possible),” which is the first song this decade to reach 20-weeks at No. 1 on the Hot Christian Songs chart. Writing songs and leading worship by age 18, Nichole’s relationship with both music and God is inextricably intertwined with her path through anxiety and depression to health and wholeness. Now 22, and having served as both an ambassador for the Shriners Hospitals for Children® and as a volunteer for Musicians On Call, Nichole has been nominated for an American Music Award, made her Grand Ole Opry debut, released her self-titled EP last summer, and realized her second-straight No. 1 with “God Is In This Story.” Breaking into the Top 5 on the Billboard Emerging Artist Chart and named a YouTube “Trending Artist On The Rise,” she launches her full-length album debut, Jesus Changed My Life
