Nigerian songwriter/artist SINACH is back with her brand new single “Not Alone.” The song is now available to download/stream. Sinach is a multi-award-winning Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, recording artist, stage performer, and philanthropist. In her 30+ year career, she has recorded ten albums and has won numerous awards. Sinach is known globally for writing and recording several hits, such as “Way Maker,” “I Know Who I Am,” “Rejoice,” “The Name of Jesus,” “There’s An Overflow,” and more.
She is the first singer-songwriter to top the Billboard Christian Songwriter chart for twelve weeks in a row and the only woman to hold the top spot. “Way Maker,” which has truly made a global impact, has been covered by more than 60 recording artists, such as Leeland, Michael W. Vineyard Worship announce new single ‘Look To Him (I See The Light)’. The song was recorded live at Dreaming the Impossible, a festival for young people from churches everywhere, which gathered three thousand from across the UK this summer. ‘Look To Him (I See The Light)’ is led by Jon Solway, who together with Beth McNeil, Harmony Smith and Rich Dicas, also penned the new song. We are thrilled to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Paul Wilbur‘s ‘Holy Fire’ album with a Deluxe edition! The album came out of Wilbur’s passion for the Presence and move the Holy Spirit to burn like a fire in the Church, and from a hunger for His presence. The title track, ‘Holy Fire’, came to Wilbur in a dream. As he woke up and wrote the lyrics to the song, the rest of the album followed. ‘Holy Fire’ is still relevant for the church today, bringing songs of revival and passion for us to carry into the next twenty-five years and beyond.
German band YADA Worship are gearing up to their first ever live project, teasing it with first single ‘Gott der Wunder’ (God of Wonder). Recorded live at Lighthouse SH, a house of worship and prayer in Northern Germany, ‘Gott der Wunder’ traces the Lord’s greatness and beauty through history up to our cultural moment. The single resonates with YADA Worship‘s passion for new German worship songs that inspire and serve communities to experience deep encounters with God.
Belisa John is a Multiple Award-winning Gospel Minister and recording artiste. The medley single features popular worship tunes like “Alpha And Omega” by Israel & New Breed, and “WayMaker” by Sinach. It’s a smooth start, both musically and vocally, that builds with the addition of a chorale backing. Belisa continues to lead the vocals in a worshipful style that tends to lose its clarity mid-track. Indeed, upon first listen, I failed to recognise any reference to ‘Waymaker,’ due to this problem. Unfortunately, production quality isn’t too good, and the overall recording suffers. 3/10.
