ICF Worship had wanted to make a new instrumental album for a long time – one that people could use for moments of intimacy with the Lord – and they are starting 2023 with ‘Moments’. This piano-led project features some of their most-loved songs from past and recent albums, rearranged to create instrumental melodies to inspire and enrich time spent in the presence of God. ICF Worship created a stripped back album for anyone longing for moments of peace in everyday life. ‘Moments’ also highlights older worship songs for listeners to rediscover them in a new light.

New Releases From Integrity Music : October 2022

LEELAND release the second single from their recently announced upcoming album. After their return to the worship scene with ‘Heart & Flesh’ featuring Australian artist TAYA last month, the Texas-based band release ‘Still Mighty’. The new single is an atmospheric, Psalm-like, rock-infused track delving into the sure Presence of the Lord in the midst of the suffering that’s intrinsic to life. LEELAND introduce a fresh soundscape that takes their signature alternative worship style to new levels of creativity. With a driving bass line, crisp drums, and band leader Leeland Mooring’s smooth vocals alongside a vibrant choir, ‘Still Mighty’ is only the beginning of the groundbreaking songs yet to come from LEELAND.

Vineyard Worship announce new single ‘Look To Him (I See The Light)’. The song was recorded live at Dreaming the Impossible, a festival for young people from churches everywhere, which gathered three thousand from across the UK this summer. ‘Look To Him (I See The Light)’ is led by Jon Solway, who together with Beth McNeil, Harmony Smith and Rich Dicas, also penned the new song. Full of energy and inviting, Dreaming the Impossible’s new single starts as a prayerful picture of light breaking through the clouds, bringing warmth, life, and refreshing. “Many young people face huge challenges with mental health [and] we wanted to write a song that reminds us all of the truth that the light of God’s Kingdom breaks into our dark world,” Jon comments. ‘Look To Him (I See The Light)’ is, at its core, a song of hope which is clearly contagious as the live event’s crowd joins in with dynamic singing. Jon concludes with the outcome of what the new Dreaming the Impossible single seeks to have in the Church, “Together we can look to Him, and together we’ll see Him move.”‘Look To Him (I See The Light)’ was produced by Jonny Bird.

The nature of the worship experience can often be described as praise and prophetic, and the song ‘Way Maker’ has been resonating in churches all over the world for this reason. Originating in Lagos, Nigeria from worship leader Sinach, ‘Way Maker’ and now is being carried in a special and unscripted recording by Ana Paula Valadão, one of the pioneers of Brazil’s worship movement. ‘Caminho No Deserto/Way Maker’ brings Ana Paula Valadão and her son, upcoming singer-songwriter Isaque Valadão Bessa, together. REVERE Unscripted present this anthem in both Portuguese and English, carrying its international legacy.

We are thrilled to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Paul Wilbur‘s ‘Holy Fire’ album with a Deluxe edition! The album came out of Wilbur’s passion for the Presence and move  the Holy Spirit to burn like a fire in the Church, and from a hunger for His presence. The title track, ‘Holy Fire’, came to Wilbur in a dream. As he woke up and wrote the lyrics to the song, the rest of the album followed. ‘Holy Fire’ is still relevant for the church today, bringing songs of revival and passion for us to carry into the next twenty-five years and beyond.

German band YADA Worship are gearing up to their first ever live project, teasing it with first single ‘Gott der Wunder’ (God of Wonder). Recorded live at Lighthouse SH, a house of worship and prayer in Northern Germany, ‘Gott der Wunder’ traces the Lord’s greatness and beauty through history up to our cultural moment. The single resonates with YADA Worship‘s passion for new German worship songs that inspire and serve communities to experience deep encounters with God.

The Review Zone – Paul Wilbur : Forever Good @paulwilburmin

paul_wilbur_forever_good_coverPAUL WILBUR : Forever Good.   (Integrity Music)

Paul Wilbur has been a worshipper for 38 years. After he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour, he experienced a radical change. The very next day Paul wrote his first worship song, and he has never turned back to secular music. He has recorded some 20 projects with Integrity in four languages, and his ministry has been seen in over 90 nations worldwide. So why have I never heard any of his music before? That will remain a mystery. This new album is surprisingly good. I say “surprisingly” because I expected the songs to be very strict in their sound. Instead, the listener is treat to quite an array of musical styles. Opening proceedings is the very engaging “Where Could I Go,” which tells that God’s love will find you anywhere. “King of Glory” reminded me of a Third Day rock song, as Paul’s voice calls on God to “Fill this place today.” There’s a more traditional Jewish sound to “Lechu Neranenhah Adonai”, while “The Shadow of El Shaddai” sounds as if it should be part of a stage musical. It’s quite grand in arrangement. Paul’s voice is easy to listen to and his lyrics similarly easy to understand. “Blessed is He Who Comes” and the title track of the album are relaxing numbers, both with excellent guitar accompaniment. Perhaps the best track for collective worship is “How Great is Your Faithfulness.” It has a nice singalong chorus and is really simple to pick up. Better late than never, I’m really pleased to hear some of Paul’s music, and you don’t have to be Jewish to appreciate it. 9/10.
