SINGER/SONGWRITER PERRY LAHAIE RELEASES HIT LYRIC VIDEO FOR ‘AMAZING GRACE (SEND ME)’

“I got the idea for ‘Amazing Grace (Send Me) [Frerichs Remix]’ from Ezekiel 47 and Zechariah 14, where the river of life is flowing out of the temple into a barren world,” explains LaHaie. “This river calls us to drink the free gift of the water of life. And then it calls us to jump into this raging river and be swept up in its current to offer living water to the world. Working with the team of Levmusic in Tel Aviv, Israel, we’ve tried to capture cinematically this raging river of grace and our call to be swept up in it.” “Perry’s ‘Amazing Grace (Send Me) [Frerichs Remix]’ is both a beautiful reimagining of the classic hymn and also a compelling re-invitation to the heart of God,” says Kevin Winebarger, Producer/Promoter at Courage Studios. “Perry has sought after the Lord for years and now what God has poured into him is impacting people around the globe.”

LaHaie adds, “My prayer is that this song will move us to go to our neighbors and to the nations and do for others what Jesus has done for us.”

The single was originally featured on LaHaie’s much-lauded album, Him. This time around, the songgets a grab-you-by-the-shirt-and-won’t-let-go remix, produced by award-winning cinematic composer and producer Joshua Frerichs, whose credits include Grammy-nominated artists Danny Gokey and Josh Groban, Warner Chappell Music, Food Network, Bank Of America, the USA Olympics, and more.

Fans can listen to Frerichs’ fresh, remixed version of “Amazing Grace (Send Me),” on streaming platforms worldwide.

LaHaie’s reimagined version of the world’s most beloved hymn, “Amazing Grace (Send Me),” [Frerichs Remix] remains faithful to John Newton’s original vision, but with a compelling twist as LaHaie urges listeners to share God’s amazing grace throughout the nations. This grace is so amazing / it’s for the world, not only for the few!

“My hope for this remix is that we’ll reach an entirely new audience; that the message will be written on the hearts of each person who hears it,” says LaHaie. “And that every person who hears it will be brought into a deeper experience of the gospel, and that it will compel us to be part of bringing this grace to the nations.”

Newton, a former slave trader who wrote the original version of the hymn in 1772, is famed for stating toward the end of his life, “Although my memory’s fading, I remember two things very clearly: I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.”

“If God could forgive and transform a slave trader, then I know he can forgive me,” LaHaie muses. “I thought, What if I could turn this hymn outward for the world? What if it could become an anthem about bringing this amazing grace to the nations? When I think about how Jesus’ love is healing the wounds of shame in my life, how he carries me when I’m weighed down by my sin, there’s no way I can keep this to myself!”

As a recording artist with FrontiersUSA, an international community of people dedicated to inviting Muslims worldwide to follow Jesus, LaHaie is grateful for the impact his ministry is having around the world.

“Because of the incredible team and music God has given me, I was able to reach more people in 2020 than ever,” says LaHaie. “McCain & Co. Public Relations opened doors for radio, TV, and online magazine interviews. Producer Joshua Frerichs and promoter Kevin Winebarger helped introduce my music to thousands of people who had never heard it. When God decides to grow something, He does it for His great purposes and glory among the nations!”

“From his music to his work with FrontiersUSA to his radio career, Perry LaHaie’s passion for communicating the gospel and God’s amazing grace is evident in everything he does,” says Inspiration.org’s John Farrell. “His most recent album, Him, captures this perfectly.”

“I’m passionate about Jesus because He found me at my worst, embraced me, and loved me unconditionally,” says LaHaie. “What a privilege to get to share the Gospel with people all over the world through radio, music, and via amazing media platforms.”

The Erwins Release “This is Love” Album

This Is Love, the highly anticipated new studio recording from GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winning StowTown recording group THE ERWINS, has now been released. The eight-song collection showcases a genre-spanning sound which has quickly become synonymous with the Texas-based siblings.

Hallmarked by The Erwins’ tight family harmonies wrapped in modern musical influences, This Is Love was produced and arranged by Wayne Haun and features tracks penned by Kenna Turner West, Joseph Habedank, Sue Smith, Tony Wood, Dixie Phillips and Kevin Winebarger, among others.

Debut single “The God I Know” is a soaring ballad proclaiming Christ’s peace to a pandemic-weary world, “The God I Know” embodies the project’s thematic inspiration found in 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

“We’ve bathed each of these songs in prayer as we selected and recorded them,” Keith Erwin shares. “It’s essential for us to consider three things with every project we record: we want to make sure Christ is magnified and glorified; that the sound of the album is authentic and something we personally enjoy; and that there’s a song for everyone. No matter someone’s age or what they’re facing in life, we hope our music reminds people of how much Jesus loves and cares for them.”
